The MTH Voidland gives you some epic prizes if you complete this instance.
To start this instance go to :
Illusion dispatcher Hoi at 172, 166 in Sunstream.
Enter the voidland and choose Moontop Hollow (4th option). You will get a list of realms. You can activate this as clanleader. You can do this 3 times a day.
Every Clan Chief will get the Clan Summons to open the Voidland once a week (monday). Also every player will get a "Champion Voucher". This can be used in the end to claim very good rewards.
You will need to fight in a party (don't think you can win this on your own!) and defeat waves of monsters. There are a total of 18 waves, and they will get stronger every wave.
The monsters will spawn at the end of 3 corridors, and will (if not stopped before) all gather in the middle (where you will begin).
If the monsters have killed Anan you will have lost. However, If you got passed wave 12 (you will have to kill every wave 12 monster) you will recieve 150 Affinity beads, and 60 Taichi pills.
If you defeat all the waves, a NPC will spawn when there is about 1 minute and 50sec of time left, and you can complete the quest if you still have your champion voucher. Giving you 500 Taichi Pills, 2000 Affinity Beads, 200 Chroma Beads, and 2 Ancient Coins.
This NPC will also grant you some items that you can buy from crystal stones monsters drop. (Granting your spouse transformation, or a pet fighting for you for a while next to your own pet, u can summon both) The NPC will only spawn after you defeated all 18 waves, and if you are too fast, u will have to wait till the timer hits 1 minute and 50sec
You can join as soon as lvl 20, and you will get a buff (T5 skills, HP and SP increase) (lasts 5 minutes, and if you are around Anan, you will get buffed again for 5 new minutes)
The monsters can drop crystal stones, which you can trade for instance-specific skills or seals (Attack increase, crit chance increase, crit increase, HP steal , SP steal). They also drop portals to bosses. The portals will look like blue pilars, and will rise around the middle gate. Just walk in it to go to the boss room. The bosses can drop instance-specific weapons which will give a massive attack and crit boost. The weapons are removed once you leave MTH, so you can not keep them.
Note : After 5 minutes your buff from Anan will go away, if you are in one of the corridors, go back after wave 3, you can not fight off wave 4 without losing the buff first, same for after wave 7.
If you stay around the green healpad (you spawn next to), you will regain HP and SP pretty quickly.
Tactics
Firstly in MTH there are 2 important types of characters :
- AoE
- non-AoE
AoE is very wanted because the yasho (monsters) come in large groups, and untill the last waves don't deal that much dammage.
non-AoE is mostly good for going in to the boss chambers and making sure some good weapons are dropped.
You can win MTH with about 3/4 well equipped lvl 135+ ascended players that know what they are doing. The bonus T5 skills you get make sure you can spam your skills
Then you have 2 type of groups
- Small playergroup
- Big playergroup
A Jadeon has alot of range so getting the monsters away from anan shouldn't be a problem.
If you have a small playergroup with low lvl's, run. you will never be safe. Maybe if your a tier 5 ascended jadeon with +9 gear u can mannage untill wave 12 though.
If you have a big playergroup, play it well. Make sure the non-aoe go into the portals, and make sure to check your bag for portals after every wave !
The AoE'ers should stay behind and help anan. If your mostly made up of low levels, don't go in portals after wave 11, you will need all the help you can get !
I personaly always jump into the left corridor, and go back after wave 3 to regain my Anan buff. (wave 4 will not spawn untill after you lost your anan buff)
Then i go back and stay untill wave 7.
Pro's : Every crystal stone that drops will be for yourself.
Con's : You need to have aoe to solo a corridor
